Year: 1940s Make: Willys Model:Coupe This ’41 Willys coupe was built in the mid-2000s as a street/track car utilizing a fiberglass body from Dennis Taylor Reproductions and a Heidts Superide II chassis. Power is provided by a 502ci Chevrolet V8 equipped with a Kuhl supercharger and backed by a B&M TH400 automatic transmission. The build also incorporates independent front suspension, rack-and-pinion steering, four-wheel disc brakes, Center Line wheels, and a Strange Engineering 9″ rear end with a locking differential. The cabin features a roll cage, bucket seats, cam-lock harnesses, power windows, an Ididit tilting steering column, and Mooneyes instrumentation. This Willys street rod has been driven just over 400 miles since it was completed and was acquired by the selling dealer in 2022. The Dennis Taylor Reproductions fiberglass body is finished in PPG Ultra Black and rides on a Heidts Superide II chassis. The hood has been cut to accommodate the induction assembly, and additional exterior details include dual sideview mirrors, tinted window glass, and blue-dot taillights. Center Line 15″ Convo Pro wheels are mounted with 26×7. 50″ front and 31×18. 50″ rear Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires.
